Abraham, peace be upon him, went to his son and told him what God had commanded him, so what was from this good son, the son of the woman who had entrusted her command to God Almighty in the past, only to respond to his father and to God Almighty’s command with all love and willingness, with patience that was reckoned, satisfactory to his Lord, and righteous to his father; Saying: "Father, do what you command. You will find me, if God wills the patient." [As-Saffat: 102]. And look with me, my dear loved ones, on the complete servitude and perfect compliance with the command of God Almighty, whether from the father who was commanded to slaughter his only child whom he had always wished, and after God gave him to him in old age, and from the son who did not complain and did not refuse, but he hunted himself to please God Almighty, and told his father that he He settled himself on patience, and linked it to the will of God Almighty, because nothing will be without the will of God Almighty. When Abraham and his son surrendered to the command of God Almighty and delegated their command to him .. they went together to a far place and Ismail took off his shirt so that his father shrouded him, and Abraham laid his son on his face so that he would not look at him and pity on him .. And in these moments when the abrasions are poured out, and for them breaths are kept in the breasts So you only see the tears in the eyes. Ibrahim, peace be upon him, placed the knife on the neck of his son to grab it, and the knife was stolen by itself, just as the fire was taken out before burning it ... And Bushra came, and we called Ibrahim, peace be upon him: {Abraham. The revelation is true, so we do well to the benefactors. Verily, this is the calamity that is set forth. ”[As-Saffat: 104-106]. Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, says in his book (Disease and Medication): “It is not intended that the affliction be tormented, but we are afflicted to be gentle, and it is not surprising that the command of Hebron massacred his son, but rather the wonder of starting the sacrifice with his hand. And if a great white horn was devoted, God Almighty sent him in exchange for Ismail, peace be upon him (and we redeemed him for a great slaughter) [As-Saffat: 107]. This day has become a day for Muslims, and the sacrifice of the sacrifice has become a sacrificial offering that brings God closer to the memory of Abraham and his son Ismail, peace be upon them both. A question may come to mind, which is the wisdom of ordering the slaughter of Ismail, peace be upon him? Then what is the reason for raising this matter and the redemption of Ismail? So let us listen to the words of our Sheikh Ibn Al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, in the book (Zad Al-Maad) saying: “When Abraham, peace be upon him, asked his Lord and his gift to him, a division of his heart attached to his love. And God Almighty has taken him as a boy; When the boy took a division from the father’s heart, the jealousy of the caliphate came to extract it from the heart of Hebron, and he commanded him to slaughter the beloved. The interest is in resolving and settling oneself on it, as the intended thing happened and the matter was copied. The sacrifice was sacrificed, and Hebron believed the vision, and the Lord’s purpose was obtained. The Hebron woman, may God bless him and grant him peace, raided Hajar and her son with the greatest jealousy, because it was ongoing. When Ismail was born and his father loved him, Sarah’s jealousy intensified, so God Almighty ordered that Hajar and her son be removed from it and live in the land of Makkah to cool from Sarah the heat of jealousy. After this, her son should be slaughtered and the son of the slave girl be allowed to Machine!! This is with God's mercy on her and the removal of harm from her and his reparation for her. How then does he order the slaughter of her son without the son of the girl in charge ?! Rather, his great wisdom required that he order the sacrifice of the son of the company, so that the lady’s heart would be raised over her and her son, and the cruelty of jealousy would be merciful and mercy would be shown to her and the blessing of this girl and her son. The dimension, loneliness, alienation, and surrender to the slaughter of the child have ceased to the extent to which they are made by making their relics and shores of their feet the rituals of their faithful servants and their worshipers until the Day of Resurrection. And this is his Almighty Sunnah. He who wants to raise it from his creation will grant him after his weakness, humiliation and refraction. The Almighty said: {And we want to be gracious to those who have been weakened in the earth, and make them the best of all. ”
